Newer professionally applied white painted finish, lightly distressed to fit age and grace of this lovely chest.
Sides have simple fluted carved detail topped by a small floral medallion, resting on tapered fluted feet. 
Note the smaller upper left drawer has interior dividers. 1 Key used to open both upper drawers, locks function on all drawers (1 included).
Restored, strong and stable, lower drawers open with brass pulls.
All nicks, scratches, signs of wear are reflective of years of use and do not impact function.
