Late 18th Century White Painted Large Rococo Chest of Four Drawers, Denmark

The white painted finish is striking in this attractive large chest of four drawers resting on a decoratively carved skirt and cabriolet feet.
The newer, professionally applied white finish complements the age, rococo style and serpentine curves of this oak chest that dates back to the late 1700's.
The layered painted finish has been distressed, creating aged character while revealing the natural oak wood below.
Each drawer had two brass pulls for ease of use. Key can be used for top lock, but may serve easier and more safely as decorative only.
This strong and elegant dresser has been restored and is ready for use.
All scratches (top, sides, throughout), cracks (including drawer fronts), dings, and age related separation (seen in drawer bottoms and back) are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this large chest of four drawers.
