19th century Danish side table with single drawer, crafted in oak and other woods combined. The base has a striking geometric feel, with lighter and darker wood sections adding to its unique character. An elaborate spindle rises above the X shaped trestle base, giving the table strong visual interest in a relatively small footprint. One large drawer adds useful storage. The top reveals scratches, nicks, stains, and minor cracks from years of use. Signs of old wormhole activity are present and add to the aged character of the piece; this activity is dried and inactive. Old repairs have been filled in some of the distress to the top. Restored stable and ready for use. A distinctive small table with high visual impact.
