The gentle bow front of this 4-drawer chest adds to the simple grace of the piece. It has been given a waxed finish, bringing out the warmth of the wood. Look closely at photos of the drawer fronts, and you will see they are each composed of 3 pieces of wood crafted together to create the curved bow shape. A variety of shades and grains are also seen along the drawer fronts. Traditional bun feet in front and block feet in back.
Restored, strong, stable, and ready to use. Note typical signs of age included small cracks, nicks, stains (see top) and a few signs of old wormholes which are no longer active but add to the vintage feel of this delightful chest which may also serve as a nightstand.
