This narrow bench is a fun find due to its unique smaller scale and at just over 6' long, perfect for a small mud room, entryway or hallway.
Original hand painted details include red panels against the blue background, date of 1885 along the back. Much of the paint is distressed/worn (especially along seat), revealing the pine below.
Restored and waxed, this bench is solid, level.
The many scratches, gouges, cracks, dings,  and any age related separation are reflective of generations of use and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this fun find.
