It is the worn look that creates the wonderful appeal of this original painted and carved rocking horse from Sweden.
The brown/brick red paint has been distressed through years of use; see cracks, chips, dings some wear down to natural pine below. Note also the cracked leather ears,  cracks/separation of wood, worn fabric bridle and saddle with brass accents. Real horsehair was used to create the tail and mane (which has missing sections).
Sold in used vintage condition. Solid, stable on original green painted rocker. This rocking horse will serve best as a decorative vintage item vs. for use.
